A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:
CANFIELD
April 20
Contributing to delinquency of a minor: Police charged Lori Fanton, 49, of 487 Brandon St., Struthers, with the crime after allowing a 9-year-old boy to drive a car in the parking lot in the 100 block of Fairview Avenue.
Warrant: Police arrested Frank Consiglio Jr., 19, of 3900 Mercedes Place, Canfield, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear on a drug-abuse charge.
Drug abuse: Police charged Joseph Hornbuckle, 45, of 39 E. Ravenwood Ave., Youngstown, with felony drug abuse of heroin after his arrest in the city.
Telephone harassment: A total of 16 calls in two days was reported at a home in the 500 block of Stoneybrook Lane.
April 21
Warrants: Police arrested Joshua Fairchild, 31, of 517 Cameron Ave., Youngstown, on two unspecified active warrants out of Youngstown.
April 24
Warrant: Police arrested Thomas Milligan, 31, of 127 E. Prospect St., Girard, on a Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.
April 25
Threats: Threats from a woman calling a man at a home were reported in the 100 block of Russo Drive.
April 27
Receiving stolen property: Police charged Daniel Derico, 27, of 15C Holland Drive, No. 74, Girard, with receiving stolen property after his arrest in the city.
April 28
Drug abuse: Police charged a 16-year-old male juvenile with drug abuse after his arrest in the city.

April 23
Criminal damaging: A glass-block window was damaged at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.
Theft: Police charged Nicole DeGenaro,29, of 211/2 Street St., Youngstown, and William Deaners, 47, same address, with theft of a diamond ring at Komara Jewelers, 3649 Canfield Road.
Theft: Police charged Kevin WiIliams, 24, of 611 Canfield-Niles Road, with theft for reportedly stealing video games at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Michael Engle, 27, of 174 Woodglen Ave., Niles, on a warrant for stealing blank checks.
Theft: An undetermined amount of money was stolen from Fuelmart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.
April 24
Burglary: A television was taken from a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.
Criminal trespassing: Police charged Melvin White, 50, of 2024 Saratoga St., Warren, with criminal trespassing at Sheetz Gas Station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Police arrested Ross Metzinger, 26, of 24 Sandy Court, New Middletown, on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a probation violation.
Aggravated menacing: A male threatened a female with a gun on Paisley Street.
April 25
Fraud: A homeowner in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road reported a credit card was used fraudulently.
Theft: Items were stolen from two vehicles at a home in the 5000 block of North Beacon Drive.
Criminal trespassing: Police charged a male juvenile for criminal trespassing at Walmart.
Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted phone calls were reported at a home in the 300 block of South Rosemont Avenue.
April 26
Theft: A total of $510 was given to a female and never returned to the owner of a home in the 5000 block of Clearfield Drive.
Vandalism: Ceiling tile, doors and plumbing were damaged among other items at a retail office for sale at 5600 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Tools were stolen from the bed of a truck parked at a home in the 200 block of Edgewater Drive.
Fraud: A fraudulent transaction was reported by the owner of a home in the 1000 block of Idlewood Road.
Theft: Police charged Katelynn Messina, 18, of 2530 Amberly St., Youngstown, with shoplifting $100 in merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
April 27
Warrant: Police arrested David Lucero, 32, of 208 S. Edgehill Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for theft at Walmart.
Recovered property: A 2012 Nissan Sentra was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Elmtrace and later recovered by Middleburgh Heights police.
Breaking and entering: A garage was broken into but nothing was reported missing at a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.
Breaking and entering: A storage unit was broken into at E-Z Storage, 5214 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: Fraudulent activity was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Whispering Pines.
Fraud: Fraudulent activity was reported at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.
Assault: A 76-year-old male reported he was assaulted by an employee at Walmart.
Telecommunications harassment: Facebook harassment was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
Felonious assault: Police charged Lee Briggs II, 32, of 2333 Birch Trace, with felonious assault after his arrest in the township.
April 28
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Anthony Evans, 22, of 5338 W. Webb Road, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Assault: A person reported an assault at PC Doctor, 3710 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: There was no forced entry but an apartment was entered and a note as left in a closet in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: An employee stole $62.10 at Handyman Hardware, 4351 Kirk Road.
Theft: A shirt and pants were taken at Dots, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
April 29
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was entered, and a GPS unit and a four-wheeler were stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.
Truck theft: A 2003 black Dodge Ram 1500 with a tool box in the bed was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Recovered property: A car and house keys were found on the bike trail at Kirk Road and Turner Road.
Lost or stolen property: A passport and a green card were reported lost or stolen at an apartment in the 800 block of Compass West Drive.
Criminal damaging: Damage was reported at a home in the 200 block of South Navarre Avenue.
