Family seeks help with burial expenses
YOUNGSTOWN
The family of a man murdered while trying to sell electronics on the West Side is asking the public’s help in covering burial expenses.
Michael Abighanem, 27, of Thalia Street, was shot after he and a friend went to a house on Silliman Street on the West Side around 4:30 p.m. Friday so Abighanem could sell a video-game system and a laptop computer. Police are calling the murder a robbery gone bad.
The family request that donations to help with funeral expenses be sent to any PNC Bank. A fund — “The Michael Abighanem Memorial Fund” — has been set up to receive donations.
