Rescue group will host a Night at the Races

Close to Home Animal Rescue will host a Night at the Races April 14 at the Army-Navy Garrison, 418 Mason St., Niles.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and racing will start at 7.

Vegas-style games of chance will be available and there will be a door prize drawing every 30 minutes.

There also will be opportunities to meet and greet a potential new “best friend.”

Spaghetti and meatballs, sausage sandwiches, breaded chicken and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.

Admission cost is $5.
