CNX Gas to lease space in Leetonia

LEETONIA

The Columbiana County Port Authority has approved a lease agreement with CNX Gas Co. LLC, operators of Consol Energy, for an office space in Leetonia.

The 10,000-square-foot office, at 120 Industry St. in the World Trade Park, will house about a half-dozen staffers initially.

That number could grow as Pittsburgh-based CNX expands its presence in the Mahoning Valley.

CNX has a permit for a well in Ellsworth Township in Mahoning County, according to Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ records, and has another planned in Trumbull County’s Vienna Township, according to county officials.

CNX will pay $160,000 annually to lease the office space.
