Stitchers plan annual Quilters’ Day Out

Ohio Star Quilters of Warren are planning their 25th annual Quilters’ Day Out May 2 at DiVieste Banquet Room, 754 N. River Road N.W.

The program will feature Darlene McCoy of Shaffer Countryside Quilting in Sharpsville, Pa., who will discuss her career as a designer and publisher of quilt patterns, picking colors and ideas for assembling.

There also will be a mini mall with a variety of vendors, displays of quilts and smaller quilted items and raffles.

The donation is $25 and includes coffee and rolls and a luncheon. Tickets are available at Just Quilt It, 171 Folsom St. N.W., Warren; Quilter’s Fancy, 124 N. High St., Cortland; Quilting B’s, 254 S.
