Teachers plan to marry Aug. 4 at bed and breakfast

Jamie Catherine Fiest of Girard and Craig Charles Giesy of Warren are engaged and planning to be married, the couple and their parents are announcing.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dan Fiest of Lake Milton and Ann Fiest of Girard. Parents of the prospective groom are Mark and Jodie Giesy of Bristolville.

Julia’s Bed and Breakfast in Hubbard will be the site of the couple’s Aug. 4 wedding, and a reception in their honor will follow. Invitations will be extended for both events.

Miss Fiest is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood education. She is a third-grade teacher at Maplewood Elementary School in North Bloomfield.

Mr. Giesy graduated from Malone University with a bachelor’s degree in middle-childhood education. He is employed as a fourth-grade teacher at Newton Falls Middle School while pursuing a master’s degree in educational technology from Boise State University.
