McCooey-Lowry wedding will be in Indianapolis

COLUMBIANA

James and Ruth McCooey of Columbiana are announcing the engagement and coming marriage of their daughter, Katie McCooey, to Kyle Lowry of Winamac, Ind. Parents of the prospective groom are Kent and Deena Lowry of Winamac.

Community Life Center at Washington Park East in Indianapolis will be the site of the couple’s June 24 wedding. A reception in the same location will follow the late afternoon ceremony. Invitations will be extended to both events.

The bride-elect attends Olivet Nazarene University, where she is pursuing a degree in English education. She also is employed by the university as an ambassador.

Mr. Lowry also attends Olivet Nazarene and is pursuing a degree in Christian education. He is student body president with the Associated Student Council at ONU.
