Women of Color expo at DeYor

The Jamz 101.9 Women of Color Expo will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 W. Federal St., downtown. Admission is free.

The event welcomes women of all color and ages. Its goal is to entertain and motivate with speakers, panel discussions and workshops. Topics will include: diversity, empowerment, I’m a Baby Mama – Now What?, Things Women Say; Do Women Know What They Want; Employment, and more. The Jamz Humanitarian Awards to honor local entrepreneurs will be given out.

Artists have chance at gallery exhibition

Trumbull Art Gallery has an opportunity for artists who want their own exhibition. The gallery will have an exhibition for five randomly selected artists May 15 through June 9. ‘The Perfect Blood’

Community Christian Playhouse will present “The Perfect Blood” at 5 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Avenue Church of God, 1045 Cedar Ave. A free-will offering will be taken. The play is about a young man who alone has the right blood type needed to battle an epidemic.
