Mariah Roberts, right, a junior at Austintown Fitch High School and a member of Interact Club, was chosen to represent the Rotary Club of Austintown in the district Four-Way Speech Contest on March 31 in North Canton. Her topic was charter schools as an education alternative. Her main challenge when she competes next against 20 other entries from district Rotary clubs will be to apply the principles of Rotary to a modern topic as a way to determine a proper course of action. Vince Colalucca, left, is Rotary vocational chairman.
