Canfield flood plan | What’s planned
Canfield city officials recently put together a list of potential flood-alleviation projects and their costs. It totals about $7.6 million.
Curbing: $1,375,400 forparts of Hilltop and Skyline boulevards, and Neff, Callahan, Hillside and Winona drives.
Storm sewer: $1,891,090 for portions of Maple Street, Village, Hilltop and Skyline boulevards and Callahan, Wiona, Neff, Fairview and Bradford drives.
Roadway culvert replacement: $762,500 for Verdant Avenue, Laural Hills and Timber Run Drive.
Ditching and dredging: $53,570 for portions of Broad and North Broad streets and Montridge Avenue.
Retention/detention: $2,533,500 for Bradford and Brookpark drives, Glenview Avenue west and east, Saw Mill Run, Broad Street and White Oak Court.
