Above, students in the first-grade class of Jamie Giliberti of Austintown Local Schools get a close-up look at the early-spring flowers in bloom at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks. MetroParks employee Beth Molvin was raking a flower bed when they visited. At left, daffodils, which usually peak in April, are already in full bloom at the gardens. That could jeopardize the daffodil event scheduled for April at the gardens because the blooms might already be gone by then.
