SENIOR CITIZENS


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark Fellowship Hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzuto will preside. Reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick. Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Presbyterian Church, 1451 Church Hill-Hubbard Road for fellowship, cards and games. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided.

Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Douglas Martin will give the devotions. There will be a pizza party at noon, and a representative of Park Vista will provide information on retirement choices. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. Packard Electric and Delphi Packard Local 717 will meet at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Local 717 Union Hall, Warren Commerce, 2950 Sferra Ave. Members attending are asked to take a labeled covered dish and table service. Speaker will be Bob Sutton from the international union.

Public Employees Retirees, Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will meet at noon April 3 at the Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road. Elder-law attorney Elliot Legow will speak about probate and nursing-home issues. The buffet menu will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, salad, rolls and butter, apple pie and a beverage. There also will be a money raffle. The cost is $9 for members, associate members and guests, and is payable at the door; the deadline for making a reservation is Thursday. Retired Registered Nurses will meet for the annual spring luncheon at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4562 Canfield Road, Canfield. Those whose last names begin with the letters A through G are asked to take entrees; H through O, salads; and P through Z, desserts. Each member is asked to take his or her own table service. All retired registered nurses are welcome.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Ann Smith will preside, and Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay will give reports. Lunch will be served by Karen Caca and Angie Revetti. Dues of $7 will be collected. New members are welcome.
