Miss Houck will become bride of Mr. Carmean

MCDONALD

Don and Elaine Houck of McDonald are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Houck, to James Carmean, both of Westerville. Parents of the prospective groom are Gary and Connie Bradshaw of Columbiana.

The couple’s open wedding will take place at 2 p.m. April 28 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. An evening reception by invitation is being planned at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride-elect graduated from Otterbein University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She is a public-affairs specialist for Abbott Nutrition in Columbus.

Mr. Carmean holds a master’s degree in public administration from Ohio State University. He is a legislative aide for the Ohio Senate in Columbus.
