Marshalls will observe 50th anniversary

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Edwin and Elizabeth Marshall of New Castle will mark their 50th wedding anniversary in April.

Mr. Marshall and the former Elizabeth Zeigler were married April 7, 1962, in a military honor-guard ceremony at Central Pittsburgh Reformed Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh.

The couple have a daughter, Wendy Lynn Shaffstall, and one grandchild. A son, Gregory Scott, is deceased.

Mrs. Marshall is a former employee of Bell Telephone and is employed as a veterinary technician with Marcotuli Veterinary Clinic in New Castle.

Mr. Marshall, a Marine Corps veteran, is a retired Hickory Township police chief and youth counselor for the Youth Development Center.

The couple are members of Bell Memorial United Presbyterian Church in Ellwood City, Pa., and have served as members of session, trustees, elders and instructors.
