Lauren Brooke Bachinger and John Anthony Mshar Jr., both of Austintown, were united in marriage Oct. 15, 2011, at St. Columba Cathedral. The Rev. John Keehner performed the 2 p.m. ceremony, and a reception took place at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Susan Bachinger of Austintown, and parents of the groom are John and Nancy Mshar of Youngstown.

The bride wore a white satin gown styled with a corset back and chapel train. It was embellished with crystals and rhinestones.

Dana Bachinger attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Ehlers; Kate Butler; Tara Vigarino, the groom’s sister; Ashton McEvoy and Kathryn Groves, both cousins of the bride; Brittany Weimer, the groom’s cousin; and Erin Rock. Attendants wore dresses in autumn shades of red, dark red, orange and burnt orange.

The groom’s cousin, Michael Havrilla, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Perrine; Rocky Polito; Dominic Vigarino, the groom’s brother-in-law; Dustin Walkama; Mat Thompson; Terry Cahill; and Lee Keck, the bride’s cousin. Peyton Hartzell, the bride’s cousin, announced the bride’s entrance down the aisle.

Mrs. Mshar received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University. She is a criminal intelligence analyst for the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Mr. Mshar graduated from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center as a journeyman machinist. He is a shift supervisor and field service technician for City Machine Technologies.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple are living in Austintown.
