CLUBS

Warren Women’s Connection will have a “Saving $$$ Naturally” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 9 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. The cost is $13 per person, including child care by reservation. Lynne Alamsy will talk about saving dollars. Inspirational speaker Mary Thompson, former music teacher, will present “How to Keep Your Eye on the Conductor.” Musician Chris Horton will sing. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Altar and Rosary Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the rosary in the church followed by a meeting in the church hall at 618 Ohio Ave.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the parish house.

Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection is taking reservations for a “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” luncheon. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 11 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The reservation deadline is April 4. The program will feature music by Rachel Joy and guest speaker Mary Thompson, whose topic will be “Music Teacher Keeps Her Eyes on the Conductor.” Vonda Schall will display bags and totes by “Thirty One.” The luncheon cost is $13, and reservations can be made by calling 330-793-6676 or 330-758-6049. D.A.R.E. Singles Group, a social group for divorced, widowed and separated people, meets at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. SUPPORT GROUPS

Mended Hearts, Chapter 7, a support group for heart-disease survivors and their families, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Azalea room at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus. Parents Without Partners, Portage County Chapter 600, will have a roast beef dinner from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by its monthly dance until 11:30 April 7 at the Kent VFW post home, 500 VFW Parkway, Kent. A disc jockey will provide the music. Monthly dances are open to the public, and nonmembers are invited. The cost to attend is $14.50 for members and $16.50 for nonmembers.
