Woman ODs in restaurant near YSU

YOUNGSTOWN

Police and the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office are investigating the apparent death of a woman by overdose in the bathroom of a fast-food restaurant near Youngstown State University campus.

Youngstown and YSU police were called to the Taco Bell restaurant on Fifth Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Employees called police after discovering an unresponsive female in the bathroom.

Police said the woman died from an apparent drug overdose. Authorities did not give the woman’s age or name.
