Univ. of Pittsburgh building cleared by another threat

PITTSBURGH (AP) — University of Pittsburgh students had to be cleared from the school’s main building for the third time in eight days because of a bomb threat.

Students were evacuated from the Cathedral of Learning shortly before 10 a.m. today but permitted back in the building less than two hours later.

The 42-story building was cleared because of a similar threat on March 14 and again on Monday. Searches after those threats came up empty.
