The Mahoning Valley has a lot to offer when it comes to food. Whether it’s homemade pasta, a juicy steak, fresh seafood or a wood-fired pizza, there is no shortage of food joints hidden away in this area to satisfy your hunger.

With Signature Dishes in The Vindicator, it is my job to journey around Valley restaurants and allow them to try and impress me with their “Signature Dish.” I will look for the biggest, the hottest or best bang-for-your-buck meal in the Valley. As a reformed foodie at just 27 years old, I have a long way to eat until I put my fork down.
