The ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital Healthy Woman program, “Strike Down Stroke: Act F.A.S.T.” is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, 8747 Squires Lane NE.

Speakers are board certified neurologist, Dr. Jose A. Arbona; clinical dietitian Sarah Garchar, and Lucinda Passek, registered nurse.

They will discuss ways to prevent and overcome a stroke, risks, symptoms and treatment. Also, health screenings, displays and demonstrations will be offered, and light refreshments will be served.

Death ruled accidental

The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death of Joshua Kale, 19, of Warren to be accidental as a result of his being struck by a car while walking early Saturday in Warren.

Kale died of blunt-force injuries to the head, said Dr. Joseph S. Ohr, forensic pathologist. Kale’s autopsy was handled by the Mahoning County Coroner’s office because he was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The Warren Police Department and Mahoning County coroner continue to investigate.

Authorities seek help

YOUNGSTOWN

Ohio Attorney General’s office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a convicted sex offender wanted on an outstanding warrant in Mahoning County.

Charles Poole is wanted for failure to register. Poole is a sexually oriented offender who is required to register pursuant to a conviction for rape with a victim under 13 years of age in 1988.

After failing to register, the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Poole’s arrest July 21, 2006. Poole was last known to be a Youngstown resident.

Anyone with information regarding Poole’s whereabouts should contact the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Investigation at 855-224-6446.
