The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death of Joshua Kale, 19, of Warren to be accidental as a result of him being struck by a car while walking early Saturday in Warren.

Kale died of blunt-force injuries to the head, said Dr. Joseph S. Ohr, forensic pathologist. Kale’s autopsy was handled by the Mahoning County Coroner’s office because he was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

The Warren Police Department and Mahoning County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the accident.
