Church will host book-signing event

NEWTON FALLS

First Church of God, 426 W. Broad St., Newton Falls, will host a book-signing event at 5:30 p.m. March 27.

Author Janet L. DeCesare of Mineral Ridge will be available to sign copies of her book, “Ticked Off.”

The book’s focus is Lyme disease, its frequent misdiagnosis and the lack of knowledge about it in the mainstream medical community.

DeCesare is a victim of the disease and suffered with its symptoms for 12 years before deciding to share her story. Her memoir wades through the confusion and exposes the truth about the symptoms, effects and cures.
