SENIOR CITIZENS

55 Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. After the meeting and card games, members will dine out.

AARP 4611 executive board will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Church on Parmelee Avenue, where a regular meeting will follow at noon. January, February and March birthdays will be acknowledged and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Wayna Hightower will be the guest speaker. Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eagles, 26 W. Wilson Ave. March birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged and bingo and cards will be played. Members should take a sack lunch and beverage, and are asked to take Easter Basket items for the Emmanuel Center.

Holy Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hope Hall at the Holy Family Center; use the Youth Center entrance. Cards, bingo and a 50-50 raffle are planned. Pizza, refreshments, coffee and tea will be served. Hostesses are Carolyn Bryson, Maria Giammaico and Ann Freeland.

Holy Name Seniors will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. March 25 in Founders Hall. Hostesses are Ruth Infante, Ann Smith, Dorothy LoSasso and Ann Lessick. Birthdays will be acknowledged and cards and bingo will be played. There also will be a raffle. The attendance fee is $2. New members are welcome.

Keenagers of Third Baptist Church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown, will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. There will be a special birthday celebration. Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played, and Bob Ferrara will give the devotions. Members are reminded to take a sack lunch; coffee and tea will be provided. St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Parish Center with Ruth Infante presiding. Reports will be given by Dorothy LoSasso and Carol McClain. The luncheon committee will be Nancy Olsavsky, Mary Soltis, Ginny Miller and John Citello. Bingo and cards will be played. There will be a drawing for a free lunch and a 50-50 raffle. Annual $5 dues for 2012 will be collected. New members are welcome.
