Fitch's Figueroa wins state title in weight throw

Fitch sophomore Gabby Figueroa won a Division I state title in the weight throw with a meet-record throw of 55 feet, five inches at Saturday's meet at the University of Akron.

She is the second Falcon to win a state title today, joining senior Jay Jakovina (boys high jump).
