At St. Luke Church

St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, is marking its 50th anniversary with activities to reach out to the community. A food drive is being conducted this month.

What’s needed: Nonperishable food items are being collected.

To donate: Donations are being accepted at the church Saturdays before and after the 4:30 p.m. Mass and Sundays before and after the 9 and 11 a.m. Masses. Community members who wish to donate may stop at the parish office 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays.

Fundraiser: The church is conducting fundraisers to raise money to provide a family in Haiti with a house and supplies. Bronze ornaments featuring the church and its bell tower were made by Wendell August Forge in Grove City, Pa. Ornaments are $20; call the parish office at 330-782-9783.
