ABWA selects 2012 Woman of the Year

At its March 8 meeting the Tri-Gold Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association honored Doris Almasy of Campbell as the chapter’s 2012-2013 woman of the Year. She is a 23-year member of ABWA and a charter member of Tri-Gold Chapter, serving as Membership and Scrapbook chairwoman.

Almasy also has led program and hospitality committees and was an active volunteer during the District V Spring Conference that took place in Youngstown. She also supports and participates in the chapter fundraisers and goodwill activities.

Almasy is a retired registered surgical nurse but continues to work per diem for Northside Medical Center.

She enjoys traveling and is involved with Friends of the Boardman Library, T.O.P.S. and Trumbull Town Hall meetings.

She serves on the Finance Committee and Church Council for Christ Our Savior Holy Trinity Church and sings in the church choir.
