Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

The city’s third annual St. Patrick’s Day Dash, with 16 participating restaurants and bars, is Saturday.

There is no fee, but the city is asking participants to donate nonperishable food, money and/or gently used clothes. Those items will go to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.

Registration starts at noon at the B&O Station at 530 Mahoning Ave. A wrist band given to those registered allows them to ride a trolley that stops at each location from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The dash attracted about 1,000 people last year.

The restaurants and bars are offering food and drink specials as well as entertainment.

Participating restaurants and bars include: the B&O Station/Box Car Lounge, the Royal Oaks, Cassese’s MVR, University Pizza, Inner Circle, Caf Cimmento, Buffalo Wild Wings, Club 9ine, the Old Precinct, Club eXclusive, V2 Wine Bar Trattoria, Cedars Lounge, the Draught House, Imbibe, the Lemon Grove, and the Youngstown Maennerchor.
