Aaron Schwab, spokesman for Warren City Schools, describing last weekend’s Harding’s Delphi ELITE (Encouraging Learning in Technology and Engineering) team win at Pittsburgh Regional FIRST Robotics Competition. The team went undefeated throughout 16 matches during the competition and now qualifies for the FIRST Championship in St. Louis April 25-28.

Paul Farr, Austintown Middle School health and fitness instructor, who began implementing a program called Fitness Gram into the physical-education curriculum. The program partners with the National Football League’s Play 60 program. Farr said that through the program students are taught to measure their own body mass index and also use handheld devices that measure body fat.
