FLEA MARKET
Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren, will have its annual indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be 21 vendors selling antiques, tools, toys and more. Canfield Welcome Wagon will host a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at 6 p.m. March 23 at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman. The event includes dinner and a live performance, and there also will be silent and basket auctions. Tickets are $50, and proceeds will benefit local charities. QUILT SHOWS
Wilmington Township Mercer County Civic League Quilters are sponsoring a quilt show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilmington Township Municipal Building, 35 Auction Road, New Wilmington, Pa. Admission is $2. Refreshments will be available, and a Dresden Plate quilt will be raffled. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each or six tickets for $5. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund. Hermitage Lions Club will sponsor a prom gown giveaway from 6 to 9 p.m. March 21 at the Sharon American Legion, 1395 E. State St., Sharon, Pa. The event is free to girls who meet income guidelines and are accompanied by a parent or guardian who can show a photo ID and an ACCESS or county assistance card as proof of income. TRIPS
A bus trip to the Haufbrau Haus in Pittsburgh is planned March 24. The bus will leave at 10:30 a.m. from the Slovenian Home, 1037 Baldwin Ave., Sharon, Pa. Cost is $45 per person; tickets are available by calling 440-944-4229. Entertainment will be by Steve Grkman. For those not interested in the trip, a polka dance/jam at the Slovenian home is planned that day at 6 p.m. Cost is $10 and includes two sandwiches and a beverage.
Mineral Ridge Alumni Association Banquet Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to The Meadows Casino April 20. The cost is $30 with bonuses of $15 in slot play and $5 in food. The bus will load at 9 a.m. and leave at 9:30 from First Presbyterian Church, 3654 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge. It will return there between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Advance reservations are required and are secured through payment. Checks made payable to The Mineral Ridge Alumni Association should be mailed to P.O.
