Farm will present upcycling class

MERCER, PA.

Munnell Run Farm will present a Trash to Treasure: Upcycling workshop with Cyndi Burk, guest artisan.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to recycle plastic grocery bags into a reusable waterproof tote bag.

The class will take place from noon to 3 p.m. March 31 at the farm, 753 Greenville Road, in the Pig Barn. To find the red Pig Barn, turn at the entrance of the Munnell Run Farm sign off Route 58 W, and follow the program signs.

The workshop fee is $15 plus materials. You will need a pair of scissors, 40-plus plastic grocery bags, one roll of parchment or freezer paper, and an iron.
