Youth theater acting classes at Playhouse
YOUNGSTOWN
Youngstown Playhouse Youth Theater will offer hour-long Saturday classes for students in grades 1 to 12 at 10 a.m. on the following dates: April 14, 21 and 28 and May 5, 12 and 26.
The Youth Theater will present Roald Dahl’s “The B.F.G. (Big Friendly Giant),” directed by Candy DiLullo and John Pecano. School performances will be May 15-17, and public performances will be May 18 and 19.
Auditions for “The B.F.G” will be 5 p.m. March 19 and 20 at The Youngstown Playhouse. Children age 7 and older can audition; they will be asked to read from the script. Bring a current photo. Call 330-788-8739.
Passion in mime
CANFIELD
The Ursuline Sisters of Youngstown will present a free performance of the Passion of Christ presented in mime, titled “For You, For Me,” at 2:30 p.m. Palm Sunday (April 1) in the Motherhouse Chapel, 4250 Shields Road. The play is presented by teens and incorporates narration, music and movement.
Glorybound concert
