Mr., Mrs. Danks and family mark 50th anniversary

CANTON

Frank and Joyce Danks of Canton celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding, which took place Dec. 2, 1961, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown.

Their children hosted a party Dec. 3 with the couple’s immediate family at LaPizzaria. The children are Dianne (Frank) Bertuzzi of Wadsworth, Ohio; Tim (Jeff Reeder) of Akron; and Dan (Amy Racin), Tricia (Jeff) Charlikowksy and Kerry (Don) Keen, all of Canton.

The Dankses also have nine grandchildren: Frank and Jack Bertuzzi; Nathaniel Danks; Gavin, Max and Mick Charlikowsky; and Caroline, Simon and Oliver Keen.

The couple are members of Little Flower Catholic Church.

Mrs. Danks, the former Joyce Lyons, retired in 2001 as an LPN at Windsor Medical Center in North Canton. She belongs to her church Altar and Rosary Society and Family Life Activities.

Mr. Danks retired in 1996 from LTV of Canton, where he held the position of yardmaster. He serves as an usher for his church.
