MORTUARY SCIENCE

Matthew J. Nuzzi recently completed his internship in mortuary science at Tobias Funeral Home in Dayton. Nuzzi is a 2006 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He attended Gannon University in Erie, Pa., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in pre- mortuary science and a minor in business administration. He then attended the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science, where he received an associate’s degree of applied science and a bachelor’s degree in mortuary science. Nuzzi has accepted a position as a funeral director/embalmer with Carlson Funeral Homes in Medina and Brunswick. Nuzzi is the son of Paul and Cathy Nuzzi of Girard.

BANKING

Michael J. Marzich recently joined First National Bank as mortgage sales manager. Marzich has more than 16 years of banking experience with Huntington National Bank. He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail marketing from Youngstown State University in 1994. He previously served as a two-year board member of the Jefferson, Ohio, Chamber of Commerce and the Sharon, Pa., Chamber of Commerce. He also served as a member of the city of Sharon Rehabilitation loan review committee and Leadership Shenango. He is a past coordinator for Mercer County March of Dimes. Marzich and his family live in Canfield.

FINANCE

Nicole M. DiFrangia recently was promoted to senior manager with KPMG LLP in the company’s Los Angeles office. DiFrangia works in the economic valuation services practice of KPMG and has been with the firm for five years. She leads and is responsible for the profitability of an analytical practice group in the west region of the United States under EVS. DiFrangia is a 1996 graduate of Canfield High School and has a bachelor’s degree in industrial/systems engineering from Ohio State University. She lives in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
