Struthers ousts Poland

The Struthers High boys basketball team held off a late rally by Poland to win 57-49 in the Division II district final at Boardman High.

Struthers jumped out to a 19-7 lead with Jake Jacubec scoring 15 points in the first quarter. The lead was 31-16 lead at halftime and 36-22 after three quarters.

Struthers advances to the Canton Civic Center regional.
