Three 2011 Tony Award-winning productions will come to Pittsburgh next season. The 2012-13 PNC Broadway Across America Series, announced this week, is as follows:
“War Horse,” Nov. 13-18, Benedum Center.
“Flashdance,” Jan. 1-6, Heinz Hall.
“Les Miserables,” Jan. 15-27, Benedum Center.
“Sister Act,” Feb. 5-10, Benedum Center.
“Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the Musical,” March 5-10, Benedum Center. Tony winner for costumes.
“The Book of Mormon,” March 26-April 7, Benedum Center. Tony winner for Best Musical.
“Anything Goes,” April 16-21, Heinz Hall. Tony winner for Best Musical Revival and Best Choreography.
Shows that are not part of the season-ticket package: “Jersey Boys,” Sept. 4-23, Benedum Center; “Mary Poppins,” Oct. 16-21, Benedum Center; “Stomp,” Oct. 30-Nov. 4, Heinz Hall; and “Green Day’s American Idiot,” Feb. 19-24, Heinz Hall.
