KIDS LIVING WITH CANCER SING Schedule

The R.O.C.c.K. (Raising Our Commitment to cancer Kids) Children’s Choir was started in 2002 at Tod Children’s Hospital. The choir, with an average of 24 members over the past 10 years, includes children with cancer, siblings of children with cancer and children touched by cancer. R.O.C.c.K. Choir upcoming events:

Today: 7 p.m., Powers Auditorium, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown. With country- music artists Billy Dean and Sarah Turner. Tickets are $45. Call 330-744-0264.

April 12: Washington, D.C., at Old Post Office Pavilion.

April 15: Steps of the Capitol Building and District of Columbia children’s hospitals.

April 27, 28: Kids Helping Kids Day at Austintown Township Park. Event activities include the first Mahoning Valley Cure Search walk for pediatric cancer, concession stands, DJ, face painting and other things for children. The event is free.

April/May/June: American Cancer Society Relay For Life events in Austintown, at Youngstown State University, Liberty, Niles, Warren, North Ridgeville, Avon and Greenville, Pa.
