Ensign wins AMS spelling bee

Austintown Middle School students competed in the annual building-wide Spelling Bee on Jan. 18. Seventh-grade student Seth Ensign won both the title of seventh-grade champion and AMS grand champion.

Dakota Gorgie was crowned the eighth-grade champion and sixth-grade students Paige Poznar and Kasey Solic shared the sixth-grade title.

Ensign will represent AMS at Youngstown State University for The Vindicator Regional Spelling Bee.
