Drug offense: Police charged Alrashan Clardy, 35, of 765 Fairfax St., Youngstown, with possession of cocaine.

Menacing: A male was threatened by another male at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Menacing: An employee was threatened by another employee at Advanced Auto Parts, 4801 Mahoning Ave.

Attempted robbery: Police charged Frank Sackela, 28, of 4557 Woodhurst Blvd., with attempted robbery and possession of criminal tools after his arrest at Send It Packin’ Plus, 4801 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 7

Identity theft: A FirstEnergy account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Attempted burglary: A window was used to attempt entry at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered and the drywall was damaged in the 700 block of Oberlin Place.

Theft: Police charged Patricia Marshall, 41, of 3802 Dunbar St., with the theft of $13.99 of merchandise at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was lost or stolen in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Warrant: Police arrested David Allison, 54, of 1249 Julia Drive SW, Warren, on a warrant for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were made on a debit card at a home in the 200 block of South Inglewood Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Aggravated menacing: A victim was threatened in the 300 block of Victoria Road.

Fraud: A male caller wanted the victim to wire $2,900 at a home in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue.

Feb. 8

Arrest: Police charged Michael Joy, 73, of 112 Wilcox Road, with theft for allegedly stealing $15.55 in merchandise at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Numerous unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were made to a debit card at a home in the 200 block of Elvira Drive.

Forgery: Checks were stolen, forged and cashed. They were taken from a home in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Drive.

Feb. 9

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Jeffrey Blanche, 36, of 515 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, for disorderly conduct in the Walmart parking lot.

Fraud: An unauthorized debit transaction was reported at Get Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Darryl Ferko, 18, of 580 Notre Dame Drive, for criminal trespassing.

Breaking and entering: Tools were stolen from a garage in the 30 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Birchcrest Drive.

Theft: The cashier at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road was shortchanged.

Burglary: An Xbox gaming system was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of North Yorkshire Blvd.

Feb. 10

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Sharon Goff, 30, of 1125 Salt Springs Road, with criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Fraud: A purchase was made over the Internet for at an office at 1570 S. Canfield-Niles Road but never received.

Theft: Two bottles of wine were stolen from the Upstairs Lounge, 4500 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Plant racks were taken at Walmart.

Warrant: Police arrested Carly Spencer, 22, of 233 Carnegie Ave., on a warrant for burglary.

Feb. 11

Aggravated menacing: Threats were made to a resident in the 3000 block of Avalon Court.

Domestic violence: Police charged Adam Bailey, Jr., 19, of 80 N. Raccoon Road, Apt. 89, with the crime.

Drug offense: Police charged Richard Ballard, 32, of 925 Landsdowne Blvd., Warren, with possession of cocaine.

Feb. 12

Domestic violence: Police charged James Foster, 38, of 4562 Woodhurst Blvd., with the crime.

Animal cruelty: A cat was found hanging in a tree at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Thefts: A Toyota Camry was stolen and a laptop taken from a home in the 5000 block of New Road. The car was later recovered in Girard.

Theft: Police charged Jamie Allen, 19, of 5029 Aravesta Ave., Apt. 4, Boardman, with theft and criminal trespass at Walmart.

Burglary: A handgun, ammunition and jewelry were taken from a home in the 200 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.

Feb. 20

Burglary: A Nikon digital camera was taken from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Fraud: An unauthorized Western Union transfer was made at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Avenue.

Assault: An assault was reported at Club Privilege, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Disorderly conduct: Police charged Jennifer Thomas, 32, of 4843 Westchester Drive., Apt. 217, with the crime after her arrest at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Ohio license tag was stolen from an auto at Bill’s Place.

Telecommunications harassment: The crime was reported at a home in the 20 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Rosenberger, 21, of 300 Deer Trail Court, Niles, on a warrant for obstructing official business.

Warrant: Police arrested Leon Reynolds, 38, of 4884 Westchester Drive, No. 7, on a warrant for theft.

Fraud: Charges were made to a checking account at Home Savings and Loan, 4259 Kirk Road.

Menacing: Students were involved in menacing at Austintown Fitch High School and an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A back trailer band was cut and Hewlett-Packard processors were stolen from the trailer at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Identity theft: A Facebook account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 4000 block of Rita Avenue.

Telecommunications harassment: A victim was being harassed at a home in the 3000 block of Meander Reserve Circle.

Warrant: Police arrested Steven Risner, 35, of 4601 Deer Creek Court, Apt. 11, on a warrant out of Pike County for disorderly conduct.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman received unwanted calls on her cellphone at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Feb. 23

Theft: Police charged Jasmine Harrison, 20, of 1619 Florence Ave., Apt. 1, and Danielle Douglas, 22, of 1519 Florence Ave., Youngstown, for theft of $96.96 in clothing at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto parked in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.

Feb. 24

Burglary: A woman’s wallet was taken at an apartment at Phoenix House.

Abandoned vehicle: A 2000 Chevrolet Impala was abandoned at Red Hot, 4777 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Jewelry was taken at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, 3495 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Theft: Medication was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.

Burglary: A Wii gaming system was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Selkirk Road.

Breaking and entering: A fenced-in lot was entered by a male and a female at American Auto, 89 Maple Ave.

Theft: An iPhone was taken at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Feb. 25

Theft: A diamond ring was taken from a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.

Menacing: A suspect is accused of menacing at a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges of $719.90 were made at a home in the 300 block of Whispering Pines.

Breaking and entering: A female entered a garage and stole money from a car parked inside at a home in the 400 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Burglary: A Wii gaming system, phone and medication were taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Brian Bees, 24, of 496 S. Raccoon Road, for possession of drug-abuse instruments.

Drug offense: Police charged William Jennings Jr., 48, of 531 Mistletoe Ave., Youngstown, with trafficking cocaine and drug abuse of marijuana and Sherry Smith, 50, of Pittsburgh, with drug abuse of cocaine and possession of marijuana after their arrest at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Feb. 26

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the parking lot of hotels at 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police issued an arrest warrant for Jannell Bankston, 29,of 440 S. Raccoon Road, for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Lost or stolen wallet: A wallet was reported missing or stolen from the Shell Gas Station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Feb. 27

Aggravated menacing: A female was threatened by another female at apartments in the 20 block of Wickliffe Circle.

Criminal trespassing: Police charged Aubrey Koncsol, 35, of Akron, with criminal trespassing at Pilot Oil, 1150 N.Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Police charged Joseph Hyust, 42, of New Athens, with falsification, Arnold Zoe, 46, of 38 N. Cedar Ave., Niles, with falsification, and Kayla Mergl, 29, of 6 Craig Lane, Girard, with theft of $178 worth of video games at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Makeup and household items were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.

Fraud: A man had his information placed on a web site at a home in the 4000 block of Crum Road.

Theft: A woman had items taken out of storage at Austintown self-storage, 5370 Clarkins Drive.

Domestic violence: Police charged Tiffany Brungard, 41, of 4504 Woodridge Drive, with crime after her arrest in the township.

Impersonating a police officer: A suspect is accused of impersonating a police officer at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Feb. 28

Fraud: An undetermined amount of money was stolen from an elderly female victim at a home in the 4000 block of Central Avenue.

Theft: Police issued two summons to Michaelene Mattson, 68, of 493 E. State St., Sharon, Pa., for theft of $44.21 in merchandise and obstructing official business at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 29

Fraud: Unauthorized checks were written at Sheetz Gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: A female was assaulted by a male at home in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.

Counterfeit currency: A counterfeit $50 bill was passed at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Dominic Barbero, 35, of 3860 Indian Run, No. 4, on a warrant for trespassing at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek.

Warrant: Police arrested Amy Hall, 21, of 3013 Oregon Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant.

Theft: A 16-year-old male was arrested in the theft of three packs of gum at Sheetz.

Fraud: Several thousand dollars in unauthorized funds were wired to several individuals for computer equipment at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized purchases were made on a bank card at a home in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made on a bank card at a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Stephen Arnold, 18, of 701 Summit Ave., Niles, Apt. 23, and to Phillip Stokes, 18, of 2713 Austintown-Warren Road, Warren, both for possession of marijuana.

March 1

Criminal damaging: A male threw a rock at a vehicle causing damage at Goodies, 4903 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Jamie Seaman,32, of 1409 Salt Springs Road, Youngstown, on a warrant for theft.

Theft: Household appliances were taken by renters at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Drug offense: Cocaine was recovered from two men in a vehicle in the 5000 block of Seventy-Six Drive. James Vaneck, 47, of S. Raccoon Road, Apt. D-1, was charged with drug abuse of cocaine and permitting drug abuse, and James Wellington,57, of 437 N. Bon Air Ave., Youngstown, was charged with drug abuse of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 2

Criminal trespassing: Sharon Goff,30, of 1125 Salt Springs Road, Youngstown was charged with criminal trespassing at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A ladies’ wallet was stolen in the 5000 block of Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: Jewelry and coins were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Theft: A toilet and sink were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Flintridge Drive.

Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit currency was passed at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave., over the past few weeks.

Identity theft: A vehicle was purchased with a victim’s identity at Greenwood Chevrolet, 4695 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: No Parking signs were damaged at Ted’s Barber Sop, 4415 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Diesel fuel was stolen from an auto at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Assault: Two female employees were involved in an assault at Briarfield at Ashley, 5291 Ashley Circle.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 5000 block of South Saratoga Avenue.

Drug offense: Police charged Todd Harper, 37,of 348 Westminster Ave., with possession of cocaine after his arrest in the township.

March 3

Warrant: Police arrested Shanna Barber, 24, of 55 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant for complicity to theft and obstructing official business.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Antwain Mayes, 22, of 111 N. Navarre Ave., for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana.

Breaking and entering: A vacant home was broken into, and nothing was taken in the 900 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Theft: A Predator pool cue was stolen at Billiard Emporium, 4220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $450 was stolen from an auto parked at Comprehensive Logistics, 365 Victoria Road.

Theft: A purse and its contents were stolen at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.

Burglary: A television Wii, controllers and laptop were taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Menacing: There is a suspect in menacing at a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

March 4

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Curtis McKellar, 24, of 856 Reo Court NW, Warren, for possession of marijuana.

Theft: A truck cab window was broken out and coins, a checkbook and keys were stolen at Super 8 Motel, 5280 Seventy-Six Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Christian Little, 25, of 19 S. Brockway St., Youngstown, on a warrant for probation violation.

Theft: $83.02 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N.Niles-Canfield Road.

Burglary: A Playstation game system was stolen from an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: A bank card and cash were taken from an account and the card was later returned at Bills Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
