AMS wrestlers fourth at state duals

The Austintown Middle School wrestling team finished fourth at the Junior High state dual tournament Feb. 26 at Worthington Kilbourne High School in Columbus.

The Falcons competed against such state powers as St. Paris Graham, Wadsworth, Delaware, Elyria and Louisville. Austintown qualified three wrestlers and two alternates for this weekend’s Junior High state tournament at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown. Competing at state will be Adam Green, Dakota Miglets, Logan Kusky, Matt Rood and Adam Koslik.

The AMS wrestling team is coached by Brian Weidenthal, Fred Weidenthal, Aaron Means and Brian Forjack.
