Police: Pa. man raped 2 women who 'blacked out'

CARNEGIE, Pa. (AP) — A Pittsburgh-area man is jailed on charges he raped two women in separate incidents, both of whom said they blacked out after having drinks with him.

A 19-year-old woman told police she awoke to find herself nude and being raped at 36-year-old Aaron Duran’s Scott Township home in September after having soft drinks, not alcohol, with him at a dance club.

Police say a 34-year-old woman came forward last month after she learned about the other woman’s allegations in a Facebook post. That woman says she knew Duran from high school and blacked out soon after he bought her a mixed drink at a strip club in June. That woman also said she woke up as Duran was raping her.

Duran has told police the sex was consensual.
