JA seeking students to compete in business challenge


YOUNGSTOWN

Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley is looking for junior and senior high school students from Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties to compete in the third annual JA Titan Business Challenge.

Students can form teams of two to three students to compete using JA Titan, an online business educational program.

Teams will have the opportunity to create, manage and operate their own virtual businesses.

Each team will get paired with a local business mentor as they compete in the first two rounds. First-place team members will each be awarded a $500 scholarship.

The event will be from 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 15 at Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business Administration.
