Cruising event to aid Salem food pantry

A Cure for the Wintertime Cruisin’ Blues, a winter fundraiser to benefit the Salem Community Pantry, will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Sebring American Legion, 395 W. California Ave.

The goal is to raise 70,000 pounds of food for the pantry.

Among the features will be a steak fry, dash plaques, and music of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s. Also, take a photo of your car.
