Probation-viiolation hearing set for former YSU assistant coach
YOUNGSTOWN — A former Youngstown State University assistant softball coach will spend the next three weeks in Mahoning County jail waiting for a court appearance to determine if she violated her probation on a drug conviction.
Gina L. Rango, 26, of Woodworth Road, North Lima, was arrested for a probation violation after authorities say she tested positive for cocaine and opiates. She is on a three-year probation for four felony-four counts of trafficking in drugs.
Rango will be back in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on March 28 for the hearing.
