PITTSBURGH (AP) — An armored car guard wanted in the fatal shooting of his partner and the theft of $2.3 million is the first person sought by the Pittsburgh field office to be featured on the FBI’s Facebook page.

Investigators say 22-year-old Kenneth Konias Jr., of Dravosburg, shot 31-year-old Michael Haines in the back of the head inside a Garda Cash Logistics truck as it was parked under a Pittsburgh bridge. Authorities believe Konias has asked about extradition laws in Canada and Mexico.

FBI Special Agent Robert Ambrosini says investigators are hoping putting Konias’ wanted poster on the FBI page will generate tips from “a whole other audience.” He’s hoping someone who spots Konias will contact authorities using their smartphone.

Agents say they’re getting tips on Konias from various cities, but won’t elaborate.
