Blakeman was deputy assistant for appointments and scheduling, vetting and research and correspondencefor President George W. Bush from 2001-2004. Recently, he was published in POLITICO, US News and World Report and Newsmax.

He played a major role in the 2000 presidential election as a senior advisor and played a critical role in the Florida recount, which landed him a part in the HBO Film “Recount”.

He also was an advisor on the ABC TV drama series “Commander in Chief,” which portrayed the first female president of the United States.
