Air Force Reserves cuts could include 130 jobs at the 910th
The Air Force Reserve is moving forward plans to reduce manning by 9,900 airmen in fiscal 2013.
At the 910th Airlift Wing at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 130 positions could be impacted as the base could lose 97 part-time drilling reservist positions and 33 fulltime air reserve technician/civilian positions, according to Air Force officials.
The move comes as the Air Force grapples with 8.7 billion in cuts from its fiscal 2012 budget.
