SEBRING
Bentley Lenhoff, 81, of Uniontown, Ohio, is scheduled to be arraigned March 15 in Mahoning County Area Court here on a traffic charge of failure to control stemming from a two-car crash about 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol report, Lenhoff, eastbound on state Route 165, stopped at a stop sign, then turned right onto state Route 45 into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by Michael Palmer, 35, of Lisbon. Lenhoff is former executive director of the Youngstown Playhouse.
No serious injuries were reported. The OSHP reports said Palmer was taken to Salem Community Hospital by his wife, who was not involved in the crash. Two passengers in Lenhoff’s vehicle, Nancy Lenhoff, 81, of Uniontown, and Lyndean Brick, 52, of Frankfort, Ill., were treated at the scene by Green Township EMS personnel. The Goshen Police Department and Damascus Fire Department assisted the OSHP at the scene.
