Police: New Castle man stole coat for girlfriend in ward
NEW CASTLE, Pa. (AP) — Police say a western Pennsylvania man stole a woman’s coat from a hospital maternity ward because he thought it was nice and wanted to give it to his girlfriend.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for 28-year-old Ryan Bonace, of New Castle, who is being mailed a court summons to face charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
The New Castle News reports a woman reported the coat stolen late Thursday afternoon at Jameson Hospital, which is also in New Castle.
Police say they determined Bonace stole the coat and say he confessed that he wanted it for his girlfriend.
