Nicole Shimensky, Michael Clemente to wed in July

The parents of Nicole Shimensky and Michael Clemente are announcing the couple’s engagement.

The couple, both of Culpeper, Va., are planning an afternoon ceremony on July 7 in Twinsburg, Ohio. Invitations will be extended for an afternoon wedding and for a reception at the 700 Beta Club in Mayfield Village, Ohio.

The bride-elect, daughter of Michael and Joanne Shimensky of Twinsburg, earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is a teacher in Culpeper schools.

The prospective groom, son of John and Marlene Clemente of Hubbard, earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Youngstown State University. He is employed as an officer for the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C.
