ELECTION UPDATE | Romney has slim lead in Ohio GOP prez primary

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has an early lead in the Ohio Republican Primary for president over Rick Santorum, a former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.

With 177 of Ohio's 9,421 precincts reporting at 8:45 p.m., Romney had 35,514 votes to Santorum's 32,702 votes. Newt Gingrich was in third at 13,014 votes.
